This piece, which first served as an experimental mock-up of the Jubilant Emigration installation, later developed into a shrine that commemorates the lives of the trans salvadoreñas who were taken away from police raids, military abductions, and unsafe sex working conditions during the 1980s Salvadoran Civil War.
